In the capital of Liberia Monrovia Anthony Banbury, Head of the United Nations Mission for Ebola Emergency Response met with the President of the country Ellen Johnson –Sirleaf. Banbury noted the efforts of local authorities on reducing spread of the virus.
‘We are all happy and satisfied that there are significant improvement in many regions. It was said over reducing the Ebola transmission cases, decreasing in the number of cases and reduction in the number of fatalities,’ – stated by an expert, having emphasized that bringing the sick rate to zero will be highly difficult.
Meanwhile, science develops new methods of discovering and treatment the virus. French researchers have practically finished their job on testing Ebola virus. This test has the same principle as the pregnancy test; results of the test are ready during quarter of an hour. Earlier Swiss regulator granted the permission for launching clinical tests of the vaccine against the sickness triggered by Ebola virus.
