Ukraine and Lithuania agreed on cooperation in the military-technical sphere. In particular, Vilnius is going to deliver specific elements of the weapons to Ukrainian army.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Monday, 24 November, after negotiations with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite in Kiev.
The parties also agreed on the preparation of Ukrainian officers in Lithuania and participation of Ukrainian militaries in national trainings on the territory of Lithuania. There will be also increased the number of Ukrainian soldiers who went for treatment in Lithuania up to 50.
According to the results of the meeting roadmap development of strategic partnership between the two countries over the next two years was signed.
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite promised Kiev “any support from Lithuania,” that this country can offer.
